The dance group Rämibühl shares the stage with the pantsulа dancers of the Fishers of Man Arts Project from South Africa, tap dancer Amanda Bisig and Elfi Schäfer-Schafroth. New pieces and original short choreographies by the young dancers meet a retrospective of BackGround – the stories of pantsulа dancers from the townships of South Africa and a Swiss indentured child, of migration, exclusion and belonging. A poetic and powerful evening – rooted in the past, anchored in the present and directed towards the future. With hope for a shared future across all boundaries.
