What does it mean to be in these roles? What do these two groups at the age margins of society have in common or not? What do they care about and who actually cares for whom? In collaboration with a primary school class and a group of seniors, a creative exchange emerges that takes the experiences and perspectives of the people involved seriously and translates them theatrically. uantuzten theaterkollektiv is an association based in Zurich that develops and produces theatre for and with children. The collective consists of Melanie Guntern, Olivia Stauffer and Jana Brändle, who work in the fields of theatre education and set design. The uantuzten theaterkollektiv understands itself as an artistically researching, mediating and producing collective. In its artistic work, it seeks new forms of participation, explores playful possibilities of dialogue between artists and young audiences, and is interested in the fusion of participatory and producing work processes. They were nominated for the Prix Assitej in 2025 and were selected with «Who cares?!» for Premio.
