And what happens in the space between desire and surrender, separation and union, the mortal and the divine? Acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer Pritam Das presents Anurāgāvali, a captivating solo recital exploring the many faces of longing. From Radha's passionate yearning for Krishna to the devotee's search for the divine, from the tenderness of friendship to the quiet call of the soul towards the eternal, four emotional worlds unfold through the rich expressive vocabulary of Bharatanatyam. With remarkable rhythmic precision, physical agility and powerful abhinaya, Pritam transforms longing into movement, revealing it as profoundly universal, a force that leads inwards and becomes a return to the Divine.
