SUMMARY:Film screening "Imagine Peace"
LOCATION:Riffraff Kino/Bar\, Neugasse 63 - Zürich
DESCRIPTION:The film illuminates the work of Edith Ballantyne. She fled the
Nazis in 1938 and found her calling as president of the Women's Internati
onal League for Peace and Freedom. As a committed collaborator with the Un
ited Nations\, she shaped international peace efforts and brought millions
of people onto the streets for disarmament. Shaken by the escalation in U
kraine and the Middle East\, the centenarian calls together with involved
 activists for dialogue.\n\nhttps://myzurich.app/en/e/5735
