SUMMARY:Youth without God
LOCATION:StuThe Studierendentheater Zürich\, Winterthurerstrasse - Zürich
DESCRIPTION:The classic "Youth without God" by Ödön von Horváth is set s
hortly before World War II and focuses on the fascist ideology of the Thir
d Reich. A fascist school class rebels against their system-critical teach
er\, and as a disciplinary punishment\, the class and teacher are immediat
ely sent to a military camp. There they prepare for war\, and in the proce
 ss\, a student dies. What happened\, and who is responsible? A cold-bloode
d murderer? The silent teacher? The fascist system? With "Youth without Go
d\," we want to open a discussion about where moral cowardice ends and civ
il courage begins. In a time…\n\nhttps://myzurich.app/en/e/5721
